Gain a deeper understanding of the fertilizer processing secrets of organic fertilizer granulators

As a key equipment on the organic fertilizer production line, the organic fertilizer granulator contains many mysteries in its fertilizer processing process, which directly affects the quality and performance of fertilizers.

The control of raw materials is crucial before processing begins. Organic materials need to undergo sufficient fermentation to remove harmful bacteria and odors, while being crushed to the appropriate particle size, generally controlled within a certain millimeter range, to ensure smooth granulation in the subsequent process.

Taking the disc granulator as an example, its unique granulation process is worth exploring. The bottom of the disc is equipped with a driving device to drive the disc to rotate smoothly. The material uniformly falls onto the disc from the feeding port, and as the disc rotates, the material disperses towards the periphery under the action of centrifugal force. At this point, the nozzle sprays a specially formulated adhesive solution onto the material. Adhesive acts as a bridge, allowing material particles to adsorb and aggregate with each other. As the disk continues to rotate, the particles roll and grow, gradually forming regular spherical particles. Operators can accurately control the size and roundness of particles by adjusting parameters such as disc speed, adhesive spraying amount, and feeding speed according to actual needs.

The processing process of the rotary drum granulator is also unique. After the material enters the drum, the plate inside the drum continuously lifts and spills the material, forming a complex motion trajectory inside the drum. During this process, the atomizing nozzle sprays adhesive and an appropriate amount of water onto the material. Under the rotation of the drum and the action of the binder, materials continuously aggregate and collide, gradually forming particles. The advantage of rotary drum granulator lies in its strong continuous production capacity, which can adapt to large-scale production needs.

For the roller extrusion granulator, it relies on strong extrusion force to achieve granulation. The material is pushed by the screw and enters the mold with a specific aperture. Under high pressure, the material is extruded from the mold hole to form a strip shape. Subsequently, the cutting blade cuts the strip material according to the set length to form particles. This granulation method produces particles with high strength, suitable for applications that require hardness of fertilizer particles.

Organic fertilizer granulators convert organic materials into high-quality granular fertilizers that meet agricultural production needs through different processing methods, playing an important role in improving soil fertility and promoting crop growth.
