Complete Analysis of the BB Fertilizer Production Process

BB fertilizer (blended fertilizer), with its advantages of flexible formulation and precise nutrient content, has become an important choice for precision fertilization in modern agriculture. Its production quality depends on scientific process design and strict control. A professional BB fertilizer production line connects four major stages through standardized operations: raw material pretreatment, precise proportioning, mixing and blending, and finished product packaging and inspection. Each stage is interconnected, jointly ensuring fertilizer quality.

Raw material pretreatment is the foundation of quality, with the core objective of removing impurities and ensuring uniform particle size. BB fertilizer raw materials are mostly single-nutrient fertilizers such as urea, potassium chloride, and monoammonium phosphate, as well as trace element fertilizers. Pretreatment requires screening through a vibrating screen or rotary screen (1-4mm mesh) to remove stones, impurities, and moisture-absorbing clumps; harder clumping raw materials (such as diammonium phosphate) require crushing by a hammer mill followed by secondary screening. The processed raw materials are stored in moisture-proof silos, equipped with conveyors and level gauges to ensure continuous and smooth production.

Precise proportioning is the core stage, directly determining the nutrient ratio. Modern production uses an automatic batching system, pre-setting formulas based on crop and soil needs, and transporting raw materials via screw conveyors or belt conveyors. High-precision equipment such as loss-in-weight feeders are used in the metering stage, controlling the error within ±0.5%, and adjusting the conveying amount of each raw material in real time. Fully automated operation reduces human error, and the usage is recorded for traceability.

Mixing and blending must ensure uniform nutrient distribution. Commonly used BB fertilizer mixers are employed to thoroughly blend different raw materials through high-speed stirring. The mixing time is precisely controlled according to the characteristics of the raw materials to avoid localized nutrient imbalances. After mixing, the BB fertilizer production line enters the metering and packaging stage, where the product is automatically weighed and sealed to prevent moisture absorption and deterioration. The finished product is sampled and inspected to test nutrient content, particle size uniformity, and other indicators. Only after passing the inspection can it be stored in the warehouse. The storage environment must be kept dry and ventilated to ensure the fertilizer's shelf life.
