What are the core equipment components of a compound fertilizer production line?

A compound fertilizer production line is a complete industrial equipment system that realizes the processing, granulation, molding, drying, and refining of fertilizer raw materials. The entire production line relies on the coordinated operation of various specialized core equipment to process basic raw materials such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium into finished compound fertilizers with uniform granules and stable fertility. The core equipment of the production line covers the entire process of batching, crushing, granulation, drying, screening, and coating, and is crucial to ensuring the production efficiency and product quality of compound fertilizers.

The batching equipment is the first core device of the production line, mainly consisting of a automatic batching system. This equipment can accurately measure various raw materials such as urea, monoammonium phosphate, and potassium chloride according to the compound fertilizer formula ratio. Through an intelligent control system, it automatically proportions and feeds the materials, effectively avoiding errors from manual batching and ensuring that the nutrient content of each batch of fertilizer is balanced and stable. It is the basic equipment for controlling the fertility standards of the product.

The crusher is a key piece of equipment for raw material pretreatment. Raw materials that are clumpy or unevenly sized need to be finely ground in a crusher to meet granulation standards, removing impurities and lumps. This ensures thorough mixing and blending of the raw materials, preparing them for subsequent granulation processes and preventing uneven particle size and nutrient stratification in the finished product.

The granulator is the core equipment of the entire production line, with a rotary drum granulator being commonly used. It uses a rotating drum to drive the raw materials through friction, combined with appropriate amounts of steam or water atomization, causing the raw materials to agglomerate and form uniform fertilizer granules. This equipment boasts a high granulation rate and produces rounded granules, suitable for producing various compound fertilizer formulations, and significantly impacting the appearance and performance of the finished product.

Drying and cooling equipment is indispensable, mainly including a dryer and a cooler. Freshly formed wet granules have high moisture content and are prone to sticking and deterioration. The dryer uses hot air circulation to quickly remove moisture from the granules and solidify their shape. The cooler cools the granules after high-temperature drying, stabilizing the fertilizer's physicochemical properties and preventing clumping and moisture absorption.

Finally, a screening machine and coating machine complete the finishing process. The screening machine separates qualified granules and removes broken materials and large impurities; the coating machine coats the finished granules, effectively locking in nutrients, preventing moisture absorption and caking, and extending the fertilizer's shelf life. The entire set of core equipment operates in synergy to achieve automated and standardized production of compound fertilizer.
