What are the precautions for using NPK compound fertilizer production line equipment?

An NPK compound fertilizer production line consists of multiple stages including crushing, batching, granulation, drying, screening, and packaging. The standardization of equipment operation directly determines product quality, production efficiency, and operational safety. To ensure stable and efficient operation of the production line and extend equipment lifespan, the following precautions must be strictly followed:

Before operation, a comprehensive inspection and preparation are necessary. Confirm that the power supply and wiring connections of all equipment are normal, and that instrument parameters are calibrated correctly. Pay particular attention to checking the metering accuracy of the batching equipment to ensure that the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium raw material ratios are accurate and meet standards, avoiding any impact on fertilizer efficiency due to metering deviations. At the same time, clean any residual materials inside the equipment, check the lubrication of rotating parts, and confirm the protective devices of key equipment such as granulators and conveyors, eliminating unprotected operation.

During operation, precise control of operating procedures is essential. For crushing equipment, control the raw material particle size to prevent large, hard impurities from entering and causing wear on parts. For granulation equipment, adjust humidity and speed appropriately to prevent material agglomeration or uneven granulation. Regularly clean nozzles, molds, and other easily clogged parts. Drying and cooling equipment requires strict control of temperature and airflow to prevent nutrient loss or particle breakage due to excessive temperature. Dust concentration must be monitored, and dust control measures must be implemented.

Daily maintenance and troubleshooting must be timely and thorough. Regularly clean, lubricate, and inspect equipment, focusing on vulnerable components of core equipment such as granulators and dryers, and replace worn parts promptly. Establish equipment operation logs, recording operating parameters and fault conditions. Immediately stop the machine for investigation if abnormal noises, vibrations, or leaks are detected; operation with faults is strictly prohibited. Electrical equipment must be protected against dust and moisture to prevent short circuits and accidents.

Furthermore, safety and environmental management must be strengthened. Operators must wear protective equipment and strictly adhere to the "three no's" and "four musts" safety principles, and unauthorized operation is strictly prohibited. Dust and waste generated during production must be disposed of promptly to ensure equipment operation meets environmental standards. Regular equipment safety training should be conducted to improve operators' emergency response capabilities, comprehensively ensuring the safe, efficient, and stable operation of the NPK compound fertilizer production line.
